I wanted to share this rather rare award that recently came out of the woodwork.
The Navy clasp is the rarest of the three types of Clasps and was awarded for heroic deeds.
The ribbon shows some storage wear from being folded for the last 70 years.
Hope you all like it as much as I do.

Yes Paul, I believe he was probably a North Nova Scotia Highlander.
These occasional show up here from Vet bring backs, as they saw lots of fighting along the coast.
I'm hoping more items will come out of the Attic.

Thanks for the replies kind Sir, this unfortunately was mine for but a short time.
It's now in MAP (Micheal) fine collection of TR awards, in good company.
This is a photo of a collection I missed out on when I was in High school.
My friend had just sold it before I started working at his Antiques store.
Canadians managed to find a few of these rare awards.
The liberations of the coast and Holland etc.

Me too! Now I'm just waiting for Chris to find a nice battle worn KC so he can sell it to me on the cheap
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

I'm going to find you a Retired Pilots badge, I've always wanted a KC myself.
But if I find two KC's you know your first on the list.
Your always a pleasure to do business with, a Scholar and a Gentlemen.
