The EK and the West Wall medal look good to me. I'm not too keen on the envelope, but I don't have alot of experience with them. I've seen a broad spectrum on EKII prices lately. The silver wash on this one is still pretty good so I'd say $130 is in the ballpark. You might hear some people say you overpaid but here in the states demand for the EK's seems to be exploding IMO. I've seen some in worse shape go for $100. If you're happy with it, you're good to go. The West Wall can go anywhere from $30 to $45. Still fun to get new stuff!

yes i know what you mean by exploding. I saw EKII for all different prices today. I went with this one because it was marked and had a cleanness frame. This is my first marked EKII. before this one i only had bought unmarked EkIIs for $100 and below.
It will be interesting to see how the Ek market will react to the increase in demand.

I bought a Westwall because of the envelope.

    Any other commets?

The EK2 looks good for the money, there are unissued West Walls with envelope on the market for 30 euro (about $40) so maybe you didn't do so well there but certainly you weren't ripped off. Overall a fair price purchase. Any chance of some close ups on the EK?

They look to be good items but I cant comment on the package either. Congrats on your first maked EK2, I think you have around 55 more to go

The medals both look good from the photos, the packet really does not and I would be fairly certain of it being a fake.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

I suspect this envelope is fake as AdrianC has said, and never seen one like it !

'Carl Poelath - Schrobenhausen' envelopes are quite common and generally
accepted. These should not be difficult to find. Also, look for bit heavier
paper and a slightly deeper orange/brown colour.

The photo shows examples of genuine packets by various makers, the lighter
beige coloured ones are 'Poelath' bags that are readily found.
