Hello everyone!
Just bought this badge today and didn't have time to post it here in advance. I would like some opinions on it's originality.
Thank you

cheers,Glenn
Thank you Joe and Glenn I got it for about 100 euro.
That's a steal...My Niemann Price Guide has it at $400 Euros...!
Congratulations, friend...always good to see a fellow collector make a good score...
cheers, Glenn
Thanks Glenn I was at one of those open air markets where people sell all sorts of things( not sure what to call it),didn't have time to take pictures and wait for approval sa i took the risk.
But although i know very little about these awards i learned on this forum to only accept the best quality from german medals and i liked this one.
nice.
I have the late-war one-piece version, produced by Arno Walpach...These are less desirable than your version, but easier for me to tell real from fake, lol...
Wishing you continued good luck in your collecting,
Glenn
Wow, 100$, nice! I've always liked these badges and hope to have one someday.
For 100,- Euro? This was a real deal. As Glenn mentioned, this type of Erdkampfabzeichen are going for 300 - 350 Euro under collectors. I like the patina on the obverse side, it gives the badge a very very nice look. And the M. u. K. 5 badges are not so easy to find.
