Article about: So a friend of mine bought this "lot" for around 200€ I guearantee that the Iron Cross is a repro because of the price, am i right? And according to him it belonged to an old SS of

    I agree - it's important for collectors to be able to see some of the horrors which are out there. I'm nowhere near as experienced as other enthusiasts on this Forum ( with little knowledge of ring markings, casting details etc ) but even I took one look at the photo and went 'urrrgh !' Everything about those items looks utterly wrong.

    Sadly people get nailed on this garbage...cutting your teeth in the hobby on a clever fake is tough enough to take...getting every tooth ripped from your gums really hurts. Hope he has some good....
