    Question Flakkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe -

Flakkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe -Flakkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe -Flakkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe -I was looking through my uncles WW2 memory book yesterday and found this badge along with a mother's cross in gold. I asked him where he got the FLAK badge and he said he took it of a German he had killed when taking the guns. It looks so pristine I thought I would post pics to see what you think. Looks brand new...

It looks O.K., but the pic's are pretty poor and small to tell if it's a NS or rarer zinc ball hinge flak by an unknown maker. These are a nice badge, the largest of the type and high quality too.

    Regards, Ned.

The badge is good. I'm still thinking NS rather than zinc, but it could also be tombak although I can't see any real sign of brass. Where the finish is worn off on the barrel the base metal doesn't look like zinc to my eyes.
