Guys,

Need help. Been on the lookout for a nice Qualified Air Gunner award (not a converted ROAG). This one looks like a fine condition issued and used award.

That said, it's not a variant I know much about. A zinc "Raised A" Assmann.

Insight and help on authenticity would be appreciated.

Hi Michael,

imo a original Assmann badge. Can`t see anything wrong on the badge.

The condition is uncommon good for a zinc badge. Have you made the pics with flash?

Joe. Thanks. My gut said the same but not knowing this raise A variant I didn't want to rely on just my feelings

Photos are not mine. And was going to request more (once I was comfortable with authenticity) to address that exact same issue on condition. to my eyes, the award quality makes it look like tombac and not zinc.

Price is still a bit high as well but condition wise, it might be worth the premium...
