    Brought home by the same Vet as the other KM items I have shown today. Sadly he wrote "Badges" on the box lid.

    Indeed a very nice badge by FO.

    I have had a couple of these in my collection over the years and i recall that they do have fine detail.

    Now i beleive this is an FO variant that originally had the cast in reverse fittings.An unsucessful attempt by the factory that due to the breaking off of the catches,in many cases,resulted in the factory grinding down the cast in fittings and replacing them with soldered on fittings.
    If you look closely at the catch area in the reverse image posted above you can see the the remnants of the original cast in catch that has been ground down and replaced with a "?" type catch.
    Still,a fine original that has been factory altered.

    I don't think the writing detracts. Actually it adds to the story.

    I just found out mine was a fake...will have to be replacing it.
