    Ok so I have no idea if this is real or fake. The catch for the pin is broken off. This is another find that I got just because I found it interesting. It might interest you to know I did not even know what it was until I started reading the information posted here.

    Don't be sad Ade. Thank you for your reply. There is no markings at all on the badge, In fact I have a U-boat badge that is marked "R. S.". Perhaps I should post it also, at least the ladies and gentleman get to see some interesting fakes and can watch out. We always learn something new.

    Please post your U Boat badge in a new thread. "RS" is the makers mark for Rudolf Soval of Vienna.
