Hannes,
Ask the owner to take better pictures.. Many times someone trying to hide something will provide this quality of picture.. Just enough to see the makers marks and such, but the blurriness hides imperfections, and the unsuspecting buyer will end up with a reproduction..
I can't comment on just these pictures..
Hopefully the owner will comply with your request for better pictures.. Better straight on pictures of the clasp, hinge, maker mark, front at back (not at angles but straight on)…

Hello,
thank you - I‘ve got better photos ...

Here they are ...
Hannes,
Thank you for the better photos.. I am on the fence about this badge.. I am not to sure about the clasp on this one.. I have not seen this type of clasp before on a Junker Pilot Badge. It may have been replaced or it may be a reproduction altogether.. I would wait to see what others say..
Sorry it took so long to reply.. Had some other work related things I had to finish first..

As far as I know, no original Juncker had a round catch plate.

Rofl...I was working on a post and didn't finish it. Not my strength either which was why I was comparing to a number of other examples including my own J2 before I ran out of time for the night. But to be honest, the photos were just too blury in the details that I was looking for.
Doesn't even look like it is tombak . Rivets look off, poor views of the eagle and head. Hinge looks too narrow but not sure if the used a different variant.
In the meantime, here are high quality photos to compare to.
Luft Pilots - Juncker J2 Tombak - Flugzeugführerabzeichen
I can pick it up again tomorrow.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
