Re: Simular set of luftwaffe Medals Numbered.
Hi Dorker,i'm wondering if these fake awards were made as a cheap "set", or possibly a "museum"that was taken in by them many years ago numbered them for their inventory hence the numbering system? The top award looks to be an attempt at an Assman as the makers mark has been copied on that one. Re: Simular set of luftwaffe Medals Numbered.
A good example of an Assman!! Notice the quality in manufacturing compard to your example Dorker, the original has nice neat and tidy "rivets" to the reverse,no pitting to the metal as it has not been "cast" from a mold and quality hinge. That's what your looking for in a good badge, Leon.

I agree on this instance but we also see the forgers do a even better job on some than some originals and that will bust them as well.
I have seen some fakes show too much detail before for some makers.

Re: Simular set of luftwaffe Medals Numbered.
It is possible that they where made for a display somewhere, but what I don't understand is that the numbering is on the Ring and on the Eagle.
As for administration purpose one number is enough I think.

Hmm...so far, zero good-all bad. Did all of these badges come from One person or source?

Yes they where from one person collection I did expect more from it but that is the way it is.
