    Hi Angus, thanks for posting, can you take good close ups of each individual award please? It would be good to see all the details in natural light when possible. I'm fairly sure the EK2 doesn't belong with the box it's in and the ribbon is definitely a reproduction.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    As Adrian says above, the EK ribbon is a reproduction. I think that the parteiabzeichen, if it is maker marked M1/155 (can't be sure with those photographs), is a Schwertner und Cie-Eggenberg bei Graz made badge. More, clear and closer shots are needed though so the guys can make a fair appraisal.

    Better pictures needed, there are very good fakes of the GWL para and Ball hinge flak exist.
