Copy the link above for a shot of the obverse. Looks to me like your example is displaying runes shifted to one side, compared to what WIKI is saying is an original piece. Some extra reading there too. I hope this helps. I'm sure others will give you more feedback. Best of luck.

Tnis is one of the rarest badges known.I had done some research on this badge and the " MILITARY TRADER" put it in the APRIL 2003 issue of there paper. At that time their were only ten know originals of the aproximately 200 know given out. This is both the silver and the bronze version combined. Its name in German is "Germanische Leisungsrune" instituted on 15th July 1943.It was awarded to members of the SS and Germanic foreign SS who passed the tests in individual achievement (such as running, long jump, swimming, and shooting);team achievement(eg,relay or rope climbing) and ideology (classroom study, written exams and group discussions) In Denmark it was known as the "SS AERESRER". In the Netherlands it was refered to as the "Germaansche Leistungsrune" and in Norway as the "Germanske Runemerke"There are numerous reproductions of this badge and many have RZM markings which are totally false as is was not an RZM issue badge. No markings whatsoever should be on this badge and the early Delta International had M/25 on its reverse and an early Angolia book had such a badge in it in 1971 i believe.Carl PS. Hermann Historica had a original Proficiency badge in there auction #51 20th Oct. 2006 Lot #3082.
