..just saw this for sale and the seller says it original..i have doubts.

It's close but there are a few differences between this and known original badges. My opinion is that it's a fake.

yeah thanks Adrian...yes i have looked at other examples of known "real" ones..it is kinda close but somehow too new looking..i suppose to find a genuine one you'd have to be sure of it provinence and where it came from...THANKS

2503 and the oak leaves are not sharp detail

yes i had a look at Adrian's link..and ummmm..the fonts are incorrect...and the oakleaves are distinct ie rows 0f 9 each...mmm very suspect...plus the front lettering is too perfect and thick
