Hi
The Knight Cross looks like a typical Latvian fake for me.
Lets hear what others have to say about this.
Andy
hi andy
please explain your thoughts about this knightscross
as i also want to spot the bads and goods on this one
This fake is called the "Rounder" because of the rounded inner beading corners.
A real Knights Cross dont have this.
Could you post some pictures of the front?
Buy the book The Knights Cross of the Iron cross by Dietrich Maerz its the best book right know about Knight Crosses.
Andy
Jacob much better and closer photos are required to determine a Ritterkreuz but this one doesn't look good from these photos , the ring is wrong and the cross hatching on the beading doesn't look good.
Is the guy saying it's supposed to be a Juncker and how much does he want ?
regards
Paul

Hi Jacob, both of these are bad.
The RK is the dreaded "rounder".
Cheers, Ade.
if you get more photos Jacob please post them as it is always good to see how people are trying to pass off the fakes plus we can discuss the faults in more detail !!
Andy is correct in that if you are thinking of spending a lot of money on a RK your first purchase in this field should be the book by Dietrich Maertz it good save you a fortune
