Help on Medal what is it?

I found this at a antique shop today but have no clue what it is and they dont either no makers mark that I could find. I do like the look of the pin and catch on it. Any help at all would be great, I have not bought this item yet and sorry for the pics, best I can do with the cell and I am 300 miles from home.

Hi Eric !

It is a 1st Class 'Eastern Peoples' award with swords.

Instituted on the 14th of July, 1942, these were
awarded to 'Hiwi's' - or Russian volunteers,
also known as 'Osttruppen'.........
