This is an interesting medal. I really like the ribbon with the swastika. Are these hard to find Dave? I've never seen one before, but I'd love to get one now.

I just checked out the site and got a few medals. He has some unique tinnies on there as well.

I'm wondering, is the ribbon on this hitler/Hindenburg an add on or were these ribbons "issued" with the medal originally? The ribbon almost seems homemade to me, and the other examples on Warbooty are absent from a ribbon, which is why I'm asking. Sorry if that is a stupid question

Glad you checked John's site, First of all there are no stupid questions,I have this medal about 30 years and it came with the ribbon which i believe was as issued.I noticed on John's site some were stamped GERMANY and no suspension ring ,which I suspect were original medals without ribbons and maybe the rings were ground off???
