I'd like some opinions on this Social Welfare Decoration - First Class...

Hi all.

I'd like to get some opinions on this First Class Social Welfare Decoration from some experts who really know these awards. I've personally never held one so I'm completely in the dark in terms of what makes these good or bad. I don't mean for this to sound rude, but if you don't know enough about these awards to post educated feedback, please refrain from posting at all. I know this sounds harsh, but I've seen perfectly good items get trashed due to inexperience feedback and I don't want that to be the case with this one. If you have an opinion I'd love to hear it, but please also back it up with data (i.e. say why it is a fake, don't just say, "fake"). Feel free to PM as well if you'd prefer not posting your comments publicly.

looks like a weske copy from the 70s to me.

Thanks for the reply, but could you please cite details that you see in this cross that lead you to believe it is a 'weske" copy? Do you by chance have photos showing one of these copies that you'd be willing to share?

put it down to the fact that I had a lot of dealings with shaun back in the 70s.a lot of his copies are now sold as originals.
