Identify this badgeIdentify this badgeCan anyone identify this WW2 badge, it was taken of a German POW in the Belsen area just after the liberation of the camp. The person who took the badge was the 1st British RASC officer into the camp who then was set the task of feeding the survivors, he went onto be the Motor Transport Officer for the Nurenburg trials of which I have his official pass but thats another story.

These badges are nick-named "tinnies" by US based collectors. They are event or rally badges produced for sale as a funding raising exercise for the Party.

It is always nice to know where the item was obtained.

If you have time, please tell us more about this Officer.

    Cheers, Ade.
