This badge have a uncommon production thing. What it is?It is on the backside of the badge. It is the first A-Type badge of Deumer where i saw it.This production thing is normaly find on the later B-Type badges....
I would guess at the brass rivets?
Or perhaps the hinge location mark on the wreath?

How about the reverse of the eagle on yours being completely flat, as on later badges, whereas early ones were slightly dished or concaved???
Or possibly the small chased out area below the hinge where the pin fits on??

You are both right Adrian and Ned.
Yes the "small chased out area below the hinge where the pin fits on" was the first one, that i saw on a A-Type badge of Deumer. For the later badges it is typical, but on a A-Type??
I guess that means I win the badge as a prize?
Are the rivets made from a different material to the eagle?
