It was sold at tradera yeasterday for a price which I think was way too cheap (50€)...

Any info about this award would be pleasant!

Hi,
Its a "Naval Combat Badge of the Small Battle Units" award.
I dont no if this badge is an original or a repro, "the originals were produced in small numbers, but no awards have been reported" dixit "Detlev Niemann" book page 930.

I would believe this to be a repro. Genuine items, if found for sale, demand a very high price. Besides, I doubt they would have put a RZM marking on the rear of a combat award.
Here's a repro I have.

These badges are very rare and as previously stated command high prices if and when an original comes to the market. The pin looks typical for a repro badge and I would be very doubtful if you have an original for the price of €50.
I'm not entirely sure but I don't think these were made en mass by recognised award manufacturers and any markings denoting this should be viewed with suspicion. Has anyone got an original to share?

Due to my ignorance on this award I have done some research and discovered this was awarded to Frogmen and Midget Submarine crew ! Fascinating!
