Article about: Hi , just for comparison, here is my FLL43 badge , I personally don't think the adler was "sculpted" very well on any of these Coastal artillery badges by any of the makers. Leon.

In my opinion an original Juncker badge.
Even though the following is just my wild speculation- I believe the master die-cutter responsible for the execution of this particular design was replaced shortly after this badge went into production for obvious reasons (they call those 'creative differences' these days- not sure of the proper term back then).
Which is also why The Kings' Supplier C.E.Juncker continued to dazzle us with some of its more handsome designs such as their renditions of the Luftwaffe badges among others.
I can certainly see why some would think it was a fake looking at it. Unfortunately (for CEJ), fortunately (for current owner) it is original IMO.
    cheers

    IMO an original tombak Juncker.

Possibly an early example with the "round-wire" catch.

These Juncker CA's can also be found with a "flat-wire" catch and are possibly of later production ?

Note the large bowed die flaw on all these original Juncker badges shown here, on the reverse side below the catch and from the 5 o'clock to 8 o'clock position. I have not seen this on any of the fakes out there, so a good reference for a genuine Juncker badge perhaps....?
