I'm sorry to say this is a fake. Wrong base metal and incorrect hardware that mimics the real thing, attempting to deceive. I hope you can get your money back.

I just noticed this and I have to agree with Norm. It is not an original badge. Where did you get it from? The biggest give-away is the pin and hinge (among other things).

Hi , the KM experts above are spot on I am afraid humble, the pin sticks out to me as being incorrect for a Schwerin badge, it is attempting to be their "coke bottle" pin but is not the correct shape and the catch appears much to thin. Sorry ,Leon.
