    This is the first piece I've bought since 2006. My wife took me to a Military Flea Market here in Germany a few weeks ago (you all would've love that) and I saw this shield and had to have it. I'm not an expert on these shields but it appeared to be original to my eye. What do you think?

    A good one I think. I first thought this might be a Wurster but i'm thinking now an unknown maker, type 1.19 as per Weber's reference?

    That is a great shield, the reverse is a 'one looker' as they say.
