    It'll be my pleasure as this is a rare maker indeed!

    The shield is made by J.C.Maedicke and it's very difficult to find these bronzed steel shields in half decent condition never mind as minty as this one! Although you can't see it, on the reverse is a stamped makers mark of an 'M' inside a diamond (see below). This was linked to Maedicke due to them producing KM uniform buttons stamped with the same logo. What a cracking find, but I bet Ade already knows that....

    thank you very much for getting the pictures up of the rest of the group.
    What really excellent examples of all the badges you have pictured and it is really nice to see that we still have some nice stuff in the closet over here.
    I hope that if you have the opportunity to buy the whole group it will stay together.
