All Kuban Schildes bar one zinc type by Wurster are from unknown makers. You can rest easy, yours is a nice original type 5.5 in great condition.

No problem. I should have mentioned that the above type has been linked to the maker JFS in the past, but as things currently stand this has not been proven conclusively, hence the "unknown" status.
