it appears to have a ridge on the rim,so I don't trust it.

Hum... looks like a fake casting medal.
IMO, dont have the desired quality in this type of third reich medals.
I'm not expert, but also dont trust it.

A casting seam or ridge left by two halves of a die coming together?

I'm not seeing this as being a poor quality medal either. I think it looks quite good quality.

I havent bought this type of medal yet, because there are many good fakes. And I have refused to buy this type of medal for good prices.

Comparing the medal in the photo with a original, you can see that it loses all the quality, and the details are weak and soft...

I'm not expert... But I dont buy this one, if it appears in front of me.

Sorry, I dont trust it.
