The reverse isn't filling me with confidence and I'm unaware of a maker that produced a badge with such a large cut out between the gun breech/wreath/pedestal so I'm inclined to say this is a fake.

What's the marking on the back?

Hi Ade i did look in Marcs Book and couldn't find anything that resembles this badge but wasn't that sure so thought i would ask

If it's not in the book then I will stick to my original thoughts. That triangular cut out is quite distinctive.

Here's another that's very similar, although the adler is positioned higher, other aspects are a very good match. The rear set up is different, nothing new there, but the casting quality is abysmal compared. I agree with Adrian, the cut out appears unique and is not seen on genuine badges I can think of, but it's on this known fake.

the one you show Ned is awful on its details compared to the 1st one,not saying its original but I like the detail on it.

I don't like any of the badges in this thread. The one that started the thread looks like a Brehmer at first glance but isn't fooling anybody.
