I have this one being offered to me at a very low price due to it having been denazified. I am thinking this might be a mid war G.Brehmer badge. Am I correct? Please give your opinions, thank you.

I agree it's a Brehmer, not in the best of condition but still an original.

Thanks Adrian. I told the guy to put some vaseline or mineral oil onto the badge, but don't know if he has. Pity about the swastika being broken off.

Yep, shame we can't tell if it snapped off by accident or if it was an intentional de-nazification.

I thnk de-naz badges are really cool. It's all part of the same history. Here's my favorite.

Aside from some insignia, no. I used to have a couple of others, but sold them.

I don't actively seek de-natz stuff, but I don't run from it either. If I see a piece I like I'll pick it up. What I don't like are de-natz pieces, that have been re-nazified, or 'restored" in collectors terms.
