I love cased medals... and this one caught my eye because the case was so mint... I learn things everyday about the hobby.. I learned today that I need to be much more observant of things....(as discussed) .. this award was almost given to me, the price was so low... so I have no complaints.

I have my own medals mounted and the cases in the draw still with a cardboard sleeve on them.....they are perfect, yet mt medals needn't look brand new

My belief is that the owner doesnt wear the case, just the medal. Chances are they go together.
