From first glance we have a fake ribbon and artificially aged urkunde. Look around the stamp and signature, it's been stained brown everywhere else except around those two places. I guess the fakers were worried about the ink running!

Therefore I would say it's safe to think the medal is also fake and this set should be left well alone.

Belgrano, I think you have bought off my site before, that medal and doc is garbage you have there. Sorry, hope you did not buy it. The doc is some weak ass foto copied crap, the medal and ribbon is shit also. Look at the run lines in the border of the doc.

Looks a cast copy to me, they were die stamped were they not ??

Here is one I have, die struck, bronze/brass or Tombak composition, very clear detail. Even the fine letter manufacturer's mark on the reverse Galdiator side at the 3 and 6 o'clock position. Ribbon is in very poor condition and faded, I beleive this medal and ribbon to be original. Forgive me for the poor photos, it's night time and I used a lamp, natural light is best.
