Hi. I bought this Medal 25 years ago and just trying to establish if it is original or not, maker, date of manufacture etc. Also, the suspension ring is stamped '45'? Many thanks in advance.

Hello Nick. I have uploaded an addition photo as requested. The stamp is tiny though and not sure if you can read it clearly?
It looks like a "93" (Richard Simm & Söhne) to me.
For the record "43" (Julius Bauer & Söhne) did not make any Ostmedaille. Or at least no such medal has yet been found for my knowledge.
