Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten
Hello collector friends,
2 weeks ago I made the decision to concentrate on the East medal.
Since I am still quite fresh in this field I ask you. Forbearance
However, I would sometimes like to try. Of course I will welcome your help to! So, now to the medals .....
Today I received this one. I have not ordered this medal with the Lord, but I get this set. I shared it with him, etc. .... back to the topic.
Here are a set of small & Quenzer have (65).
I think the bag is supposed to be an early production, and I think well. I'm unsure when the medals. I know the '65 actually only with rays in plumage.
Could it be that it is too early and late productions of OM was with this company?
Thus, the rays were not available in early production?
Weight: 22 grams
Height: 44,30 mm
Width: 36.50mm
Measured with a caliper (not digital).
Personally, I would now tend to have a piece of Werner Redo (88). Which to my knowledge are rare. What do you think?
However, the piece is in an unworn condition and very nice I think.
Have fun and thank you ever so!

Re: Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten
The fist one I agree looks like a '65'. The second I'm not sure about but I will disagree with Nick, I can't see '65' from that image. Can you post any more pics of the makers mark?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
