My dad saw this and said "clearly fake, they spelled October with a "k" in it. Bless him. I've only seen wear on these with white spots and dark, almost black patches, wait for the big boys to turn up! I'd probably be tempted if it was under £40.

If I remember correctly from Antonio Scapinis great work on the flower medals it was only Petz & Lorenz that hade that chain design.
I have seen fakes using this design but Meechs looks like a good one to me.
