I'm just now finding out that these are heavily faked, and although it looks decent to me I'm looking forward to other opinions as well...Glenn

Double check it against some other known originals within the Forum.
The swastika in the pic looks canted to the left, and the reverse
lettering has cracks throughout. Could simply be that
I'm over-cautious.........!

Thank you very much, seems to be a piece that gives headaches, say it may be known as the False "OB" and others argue that these pieces are vintage, this reminds me of the Kriegsmarine Banquevilles.
Let's see if we can shed light on this topic
The vertical line between the two figures is something I haven't seen before. Certainly the cracked reverse lettering as spotted by Walkwolf is also an oddity. If it were me, I would pass on it. Post it on the WAF if you are feeling brave, those guys love to tear apart any Memel that isn't a 'backwards sloping G and small A'.
