    Hi belgrano,

It's a well-known old fake, sometimes called the "Cave Creek Special", named after Cave Creek, Arizona in the U.S. where a dealer was selling these as part of a complete line of fake KM badges (I think back in the 1990's?). I don't know if they actually originated there or originated in Europe and made their way there for re-sale.

    Best regards,
    ---Norm

Thanks Norm...I've never seen an original marked so profusely either...a bit over the top, perhaps?
    cheers, Glenn

Yes, also the patina on backside looks unusual.
