Default Mini's 1957 Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub & Schwerten / Navy wound badge???

    Hi all,

I picked up these two mini's today.
I really like the Knights cross. Its a decent piece which is surprisingly heavy despite its small size.
The Naval wound badge confounds me with the ribbon? Surely it should not be on a ribbon or can anyone else give more info on this set up? The little piece itself is really cheaply made.

Any feedback would be most welcome!
    Have a great day,

these are 57er badges (post war) still very collectable all badges/awards that didn't have a ribbon would be on a black ribbon for miniture

adrian...Tom is correct, all qualification and war badges were attached to a black ribbon, on both ribbon bars and miniature medal bars. The Naval wound badge is an Imperial era one, 1914-18. Here is an example of a WW2 silver wound badge on a 57er ribbon bar. Prost ! Steve.
