    Hi guys,
    Took a chance on this DRL sports badge because of the engraved name on the back.
    The badge looks like it had been polished at one time.
    Is this (the engraving) something you see from time to time? To me, it looks to have been done back in the day.
    Apparently Wilfried Frahm must have been very proud of his award.

    Huh....man was proud of his badge. Interesting to see such a nice engraving on a non-combat award.

    Maybe he was the last guy picked for dodge ball as a kid so earning this was an big deal! LoL

    That said, the engraving looks well done and correct to me.
