adrian's comments are spot on.
the base material has shrunk. the outer red ring has moved under the metal wreath (which, of course, does not shink) and the inner red ring has also correspondingly moved inward away from the metal wreath as well.
it's a good example with shrinkage of the base material probably due to, as previously mentioned, having been wet at some time in the past.
What would be a fair price for this cross? Thanks, TCZ
