    Hi all.

I'd like to get some opinions on this German Eagle Order. I like a lot of things that I see with it, but would like to hear some opinions from those who have more experience with these than I do (I have none).

I never had one in hand, and only have a fifth class. But for what I see in the front I must say I like it too. The enamel looks very crisp and nice.
    But wait for better opinions.
Member Marisca is the one you need to ask, he is a expert.

The detail on the eagles tells the story! It looks to me to be a textbook Godet of Berlin specimen. The milky white enamel around the swastikas is as it should be-unlike so many fakes of these that you see and the hardware and the 2 rivet construction is also textbook. A superb Order of the Eagle Star award. I can see no problems with it. As Kris said-you should contact Marisca-he will give you the definitive Yay or Nay on it, but I definitely like it.

I find it strange that the eagles are different sizes or is that because of picture angle.?

It is the photo angle Harry, the are all the same size. Even a reproduction wouldn't likely have that obvious a mistake.

I believe it is 100% genuine. An early type 1 (1937-1939) and rather rare and very desirable.
