Klaus is a very good dealer. You can buy with confidence but that shouldn't be a reason not to gain as much knowledge as you can about what you want to buy so then you can shop with confidence almost anywhere.

cheers Adrian. I thought the EK2 one was red not orange? Or am I totally wrong?!
THe EK2 ribbon has just faded a bit from red to orange ,it seems
Ah, I did think that lol!! cheers! Jay
Not wrong, most EK2 ribbons are distinctly red, however some (thought to be early) are orange. They were actually made with an orange hue and are definitely not red. Obviously some red ribbons fade to a pinkish colour with poor storage and exposure to sunlight.
The orange versions are completely original in colour and are quite sought after.
The pic below shows a court mounted example in my collection with the orange ribbon. The inner folds, not exposed to light show no difference in colour. I also have Schinkel and Ubergrosse crosses with this colour of ribbon.

And the back of the ribbon is orange too Adrian so don't think that would show signs of fading. Quality medal by the way
