That's a nice mis-shapen cross Ralph and good to see the ring correctly positioned inside the folds!
Is the apparent bend on the arms damage or a manufacturing flaw do you think?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
As the seams are nicely matched I find it difficult to imagine that the shape is due to manufacturing errors. That would mean that two frames were misshapen to match. The arms outer edges do not appear to have sustained any damage, so I would imagine that the shape is possibly due to human intervention, ie, being hand vaulted?

Hmm. I just can't see the need to hand vault an EK2.
It may have happened when the two frame were pressed together at that moment of manufacture which would explain the two halves having the same bend.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
