    A nice example of one of my favourites. That is a strange robbon set-up though. Totally authentic but I suspect not done for uniform wear.

    Here is one of mine for comparison;

    I have found that ribbon with sewn in pin on few service medals.

    Yes for sure, I have seen very few of these that do not have a pin and this is the typical type. What was puzzling me was that the ribbon on yours seems to have been folded unusually short (it looks like there is a full length of ribbon just folded) as if it was intended to wear on the lapel of a civilian jacket perhaps?

    It looks like it - I have other service medals and they have the same fold done. They all come from Austria so it could be a "local" style.
