I agree with my Mate Stewy...a ground dug attributed R. Karneth.

Here is one of mine to compare. This one is the un-pebbled leaf variant

    Best Regards, fischer
Fischer's is also a bronze, which is a lot rarer than silver's. I think both my silvers are posted here both pebbled & unpebbled somewhere. If you can find the link to them.
@ Fischer. That really is a show stopper mate! Stewy

Glenn66. Great looking SA Sports Badge. And a low number too. Following is a request I have:
This is a needle-in-the-haystack request for a Gold SA Sports badge. If you have a numbered badge; the badge number I'm looking for is #1025. Long shot - you betcha. But stranger things have happened in our hobby. This particular badge was awarded to LtCol Wilhelm Walther of the Brandenbergers and I have his full dossier as well as his personal Army Dagger. Thanks

My uncle and his family live there, and I spent a summer with him working on houses. We were in Frohnau, if you know the region. Lovely place.

fischer, perhaps a dumb question, but wondering how one tells the type of badge--yours has the bronze look, I think this is bronze but it looks dark grey--is it a zinc?

Si, yours is a zinc silver JB&Co unmarked. The hardware's made of buntmetal, this has a bronze-ish look to it. Stewy
