well, it's not that rare, or a lot of worth :P
If it is a Wernstein "5",i can't quite tell from the pics.Then IMO,it's a maker that's not always seen. But not a rare maker,congrats on a nice find. Stewy

It looks good to me; it has the wear that it should on the edges of the cross. I don't see any makers marks, which would typically be stamped on the ring. I have an Iron Cross 2nd class that doesn't have a makers mark either and I would never doubt it was real. If the price is fair, it looks like a good buy to me.
