Thanks heaps guys, I brought quite a bit including a police service medal, this medal (Russian front), a merit cross with out swords, a NSDAP frau badge, a NAZI occupation of the Ukraine bank note and a bronze sports medal! I will post it all when I get my computer as the one i used for this medal took ages to upload...

    Thanks again,
    Caleb.

It certainly is interesting. Does it look to anyone else that the 'STEN' in 'IMOSTEN' looks bigger than the 'IMO"? Certainly compared to my Eduard Görlach & Söhne example it is.

    That's a nice example Glenn

I might be wrong but i don't think these are heavily faked.

Both very nice examples. Oddly enough, even though these medals are plentiful and inexpensive, fakes are out there. There must be a market for those who would buy a fake for US$25 instead of paying $45 for an original.

The fakes tend to be poor and easy to detect

Very strange that people will make fakes of relatively inexpensive item. I did not know about that.

And also what about the helmet? Because the bottom of it is a little bit curved?
