For me it's fine, no worries about that award. It's probably one of the nicest awards too, especially the gold class as the colours are super.

I received the item and the cross looks amazing! I'm impressed by it. I put it under a blacklight and this is what i saw. the image isn't the best, Nikon D40 can't handle the 3rd Reich apparently.
It appears that the thread on the sides has a glow, is that normal?
What do you think?
The pics may be a little off, the glow isn't quite as bright and its only the out side thread.
The award itself looks great, that glow on the outer rim of the ribbon is a little strange but it could have been washed at some stage, leaving traces on the outsides...just a thought...
Note about the fakes...most have a thinner swastika and the white/off-white border is usually too wide. Plus as usual with many fakes, the details are not as sharp...especially to the date and the facsimile signature on the reverse.
Regards,
Carl.
Thank Carl!
The ribbon has a little stain on it, so i'm assuming they tried to wash it out. I'm glad the award is what it is and is real. December 16th is my birthday ironically.
