Article about: Hey guys, I got these two very random pins for free some time ago.. A knowledgeable friend of mine advised me that these are just fake/fantasy badges.. I don't believe they are of any value.

    Hey guys, I got these two very random pins for free some time ago.. A knowledgeable friend of mine advised me that these are just fake/fantasy badges..
    I don't believe they are of any value.. But just for educational purposes, can anyone shed some light on what these are suppose to be?

    Supposedly for air raid wardens, but not really produced during the TR period.
    I believe the one below is an accepted version, not 100% sure. They are faked too, though.

    The first sign of it being bad is the coffin shaped pin attachment, followed by the Hermann Aurich logo, which is incorrect as the H laying atop the A has closed ends, making it into a box.

    Some believe these to be genuine TR "Reichsluftschutz - Flugmeldedienst

    Unfortunately we all know how many fake/fantasy items end up in reference books. One cannot take all that is written as gospel.
    I am not 100% sure, but would love some period proof before believing. May I ask which book you got this from?
    If not fantasy, at least I'm 100% sure the starting posts badges are indeed bad. :-)
