Hello gentlemen,

I bought this awhile ago but I just got it today. It is the second of many Minensuch badges to be in my collection, as these are among my favorite German combat awards. I thought I would show it off...

I have it pictured next to my other one, an unmarked S&L.

Very nice Karneth Mo! It goes well with the S&L and despite the spout and waves having lost their finish, the wreath has retained a very good amount of gold finish.
I'm still envious of your S&L I can't remember seeing a better conditioned example in zinc from this maker. Thanks for posting.

It's a good badge Mo, no denying. Most zinc S&L Minesweepers have lost their finish so to see one with a good amount left is a treat. I hope to add one myself over the next couple of weeks but still not as nice as yours.

Quick question... Is my S&L slightly vaulted, or is this either how this manufacturer made them, or damage?

I am referring to the swept back wings and the fact that it is slightly bent, kind of down the middle.

It looks like the recipient has vaulted it slightly Mo. They weren't made like that and it's not damage.
