So far, I am 0/3. Hoping this one goes the right way, but the more I research, the more I believe this is a fake. From the images I've seen, the Schwerin marks are all raised letters with "FEC. ADOLF BOCK / AUSF. SCHWERIN. BERLIN". This one is stamped "Schwerin Berlin 68" in much smaller letters. The gold gilding also looks way too nice. As always, my father purchased this from an auction house who advertised it as original....I'm seeing a pattern with this Any chance I'm wrong?

Well done on doing your research as this one is indeed a poor fake. Nowhere near the quality of a genuine Schwerin award and the rear set up is completely incorrect for theirs, or for that matter any of the known makers. Leon.

    Hi,

full agreed. All is wrong in this badge. In supplement to previous opinions: a few variations of this badge exist, but all have dark finsh on the back. Here a good one for comparision.
