Set of Decorations with papers

Article about: S&L PAB and EKI, the EKII is a Souval IMO, the BWB is made from steel and cleaned heavily that's why its lost the finish.

    Hi János,
    The EK2 is definitely not a Souval, my guess would be a Klein & Quenzer.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    I agree with Adrian. For that amount you can find some nice awards with documentation elsewhere.

    I have a bad feeling when I see dealers including repros to sell groupings like this ! Laminated documents ???

    The BWB is so heavily cleaned that lost much of the details i.e. on the leaves. IMO the set is way over priced. You can find easily better and cheaper.

    Thank you so much to everyone that has replied! Your valuable comments has saved me from wasting my money.
    Now I am on the hunt again for my first authentic German decoration (preferably an award with documentation)

    Don't be in a rush, decide what you would like to get and shop around, use the forum to research your chosen item/s and don't forget to ask before you spend.

    The Gespenster Brigade or 'Ghost Brigade' was part of the 7th or 11th Panzer Division (depends where you look) and commanded by Oberst Günther Angern.
